What I liked most is the end-of-year process. In the past we would chase students who had not returned a key and we had no idea who owed what. Now there is an orderly list - who returned, who did not, and what condition the locker is in. It has saved us a great deal of trouble, and also money on locks that used to be replaced unnecessarily.
We used to manage the lockers on a printed Excel sheet pinned to the wall. Every change meant finding the sheet, crossing something out and writing it again. Now everything is digital. I assigned 400 students to lockers within an hour using the automatic allocation. It simply works.
