Terms of use

These terms of use are written in the masculine form for convenience only and apply equally to all genders. The Pgishonim system (hereinafter: "the system") is operated by Pgishonim - Technology Solutions in Education Ltd. (company no. 516971223) and is intended for educational institutions and for users on their behalf. Use of the system is subject to the terms below.

1. The licence to use

The service is provided to the educational institution as a licence to use for one school year, granting the institution the right to use the system during that school year only. The licence is for a fixed period and cannot be cancelled during the school year. The licence does not renew automatically, and there is no obligation to continue into the following year — at the end of the school year the institution may decide whether to renew the licence for a further year (purchase of a new licence) or to end its use. Each school year constitutes a separate licence.

2. Intellectual property

All rights in the system and in the site — including the code, the design, the media files, the graphics, the texts and the trademarks — belong exclusively to Pgishonim - Technology Solutions in Education Ltd. No part of them may be copied, duplicated, distributed, published or processed without prior written permission. Content that the institution or its users enter into the system (such as student data, forms and messages) remains the property of the institution/the user, and Pgishonim uses it solely for the purpose of providing the service and in accordance with the privacy policy.

3. Responsibility for messaging content

The school is the sole party responsible for the content of the messages sent through the messaging system, including their accuracy and their lawfulness, and for obtaining the consents required by law in order to send them. Pgishonim shall not bear responsibility for the content of the messages or for any damage, direct or indirect, caused as a result of use of the messaging system, and the school is responsible for any claim or suit brought in connection with the content of the messages.

4. Availability of the service

We aim to provide the service continuously, but there may be interruptions because of maintenance, technical faults or third parties. We do not undertake continuous availability, and no compensation will be given for temporary service interruptions.

5. Information security

We take reasonable security measures to protect the information. Further details appear in the privacy policy. In the event of a security incident we will act in accordance with the obligations under the law.

6. Store purchases and parent payments

Purchases made by parents in the system store are subject to the applicable consumer law, including the right to cancel a transaction under the Consumer Protection Law. The full store terms appear on the store terms page.

7. User management

The system management may restrict or block the access of a user who breaches these terms or who harms the operation of the system or the rights of other users.

8. External links

Links to external sites are not our responsibility, and use of them is at the user's own responsibility.

9. Cookies

The site uses cookies. For details see the cookie policy.

10. Updating the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be published in the system, and continued use after they are published constitutes agreement to them.

11. Jurisdiction

Israeli law applies to use of the system, and jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district.
